Spring is surely coming!

It snowed about 15 inches this morning here in Virginia. I decided to go for a walk in the snow before the last of the white bliss melted. I have a “secret” spot in the woods I go for solitude. It is the same place I took the pictures of the heart shaped trunk trees (see Valentine’s Day post). Today, despite the snow I found the first of the wild spring flowers blooming. Yellow daffodils smiled at me, despite the recent storm.

Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!

About Armed with Truth

Hello! My name is Kat. I currently teach English as a foreign language in China. I decided to leave my job in law enforcement about six months a go to pursue a career in teaching. I just finished a bachelors degree in criminal justice. I have also finished four semesters at Liberty University in my Masters of Human Services. I am hoping to work with humanitarian work/missions in Asia as soon as I pay off my loans. I also have dreams of being a children's book author, someday.
